As a child, I had plenty of toys and dolls.
I had dolls made from paper, from fabric and of course, Barbie as well
My grandma was helping me to sew clothes for the dolls and I spend so many hours just to make some new dresses and skirts for my dolls
At his moment, I have so many kids in my family so every year I don't know what I can get for them

I and my husband was looking in the shops something for girls
I really liked the Barbie Head block on Ebay

Parents bought for our nieces two Lalaloopsy dolls already for Christmas so we were lucky that we didn't buy any other head blocks for the girls cs the girl were just so excited about Lalaloopsy dolls and they were playing with them all day.

The LALALOOPSY doll is the best buy for baby girl
The doll has so many accessories and is so colourful
It's really great gift for a girl

Label M Toni & Guy Powder Color Hair Spray Review

I would like to just say that I am not getting any money to advertise products below
I am hairdresser and I am researching about those products myself and would like to get the best one for myself

I love this 4 colours from Toni & Guy
You could get this product during salon international in London for just 10 £ , very good deal
My favourite is the pink one

Pros:

deep pigmentation

quite easy to wash out only if the product is on the hair but when is on the scalp you will need a good long shower to wash it out 

Cons:

Hair is matted and sticky 

This hairspray has to be applied very close to the hair

If you apply this product from the distance you will get the pink dust everywhere in your toilet 

I used those products on my hair this year when I was going to a friend's wedding and everyone was asking me did I dye my hair cs the colour was very intensive :)
Actually, my main photo was taken on this wedding and you can see that my hair is pink

Definitely, I will use it again maybe for a New Year 2015 to impress my friends again:)

I was in Scotland this year visiting my family for Christmas and I was very happy when my nieces asked me to do their hair for Christmas Eve

I had all the tools I needed to do some hairstyles for them
I told girls to do some research what type of hairstyle they would like to have
They found some videos and photos with the hairstyles that they really liked and I had to keep my promise and do this  hair styles for them

I was very pleased that the girls liked their hair and we had great Christmas Eve
Girls got dressed so nice and look stunning

Santa broth plenty of gifts for them next day morning

At the afternoon, we took girls to the park and we had fabulous day without any hair styles this time :)

Wahl Clip & Rinse

Today I was checking my husband's Wahl Clip & Rinse and cut the hair on head block first to see how does it work

 

This product - Wahl Clip & Rinse  was made in 2011

Original price was 25£ but now you can get it for just 20£

This Clip N Rinse is great for hair cutting at home but...
The few things I didn't like about this product are the Barber Comb which one is very cheap made, scissors are not the best quality either and the Left and Right ear tapers cutting the hair just too short at the top of their edge ( you have to lift the top edge of the ear taper to 10˚ to get longer hair )
Overall product works very nice and you get some nice features like

• Main/Rechargeable
• 3 years warranty

 On this head block below I did just low part of the head and the left and right sides
I didn't cut the top part of the hair
I did the sides of the head where are the ears with ear tapers  
you can see that the hair is very short

If you would like to get nice smooth finish you will probably need someone to help you cut your hair
When my husband came back home I cut his hair and I was  very careful to not over do it

This hair cut took time and I had to use my hairdressing scissors to fix my husband's sides a bit so if you would like to cut your hair yourself and you are not barber or hairdresser I will not recommend this product....
I will recommend go to barber to get professional hair cut
 ...

Some useful graphics for students of Hairdressing

I have just started to learn what is the colour in hairdressing  and how to read depth and tone numeration for Wella products

It's a bit confusing, the graphics from Wella, somehow they are not easy for me to remember and I tend to mix up the tone with depth
I came up with idea to make my own graphics which one give basic knowledge and will help hopefully anyone read depth and tone example 66/66 etc

It is great for anyone who is doing level 2 in hairdressing and will work with Wella products

What Razor should you buy for Hairdressing

What Razor should I buy ?

This question is very common In hairdressing salon In my college 

I was In Sally Shop and I have seen one Razor but I've assumed that price of this razor was expensive cs there was no price tag on display

I've decided to get my razor on eBay and invested in :

Hairdressing Hair shaping Razor, Fringe Styling Hair Cutting Razor plus 10 Blades

The company who is selling it called Lazy Girl Beauty Supplies, Manchester, UK

I am very happy with their razor 

One thing I don't like about their product is when I want to change the blade , the blade doesn't come off easy 

The design is not so good but the product is cheap and do the job

Theory exam

My theory exam will be about client's consultation or how to present yourself in the salon.

The exam will cover basic knowledge about hair construction  , skin conditions, contra indications,  etc.

The best place to find information about this stuff is library and the books about hairdressing level 2 , internet etc. 

students have to have  60% of the positive answers to pass the exam so if you Think hairdressing is easy you are wrong.

Leggings or trousers for Hairdresser ?

Leggings or trousers for Hairdresser ?

In my college, I was told that I can come to the class wearing leggings

That was very good information for me cs I love soft and comfy leggings but...
When you will start cut the hair you will notice that the fabric of the leggings is not very good and you will get haircuts everywhere, itchy legs etc.

The one solution is to have good quality trousers and now I preferred to go to college wearing trousers then leggings

If you still like the shape of the leggings I will go for extreme shopping and buy leather leggings.:)

Professional Hair Combs

Professional Hair Combs

Recently I bought Matador comb no 36
It's a bigger version of the Matador comb saw cut no 4

As a student, I use Matador comb no 4 but I've noticed that this comb is too short and I need a wider comb to brush the hair or to get wider selection of the hair
At first, I felt a bit awkward when I was holding this comb in my hand
It was heavy  but after a while I've started to like it and now I can't cut hair without it

I've still got no 4 is very useful when I want a select narrow section of the hair etc.

The Matador combs are very good quality they are made from strong material
