Halloween Hair Style / Rick Rack

The October is all about Halloween

and the best technique to achieve Halloween Hair Style is to

crimped the hair

To do this hair style you will need :

Hair Crimper or

Hair Pins or Grips
Hairspray
Soft Brush
Hair Straightener

The hair after crimping will get soft fluffy texture of cotton wool or candy floss with a lot of volume, great hair to work with
I left top part of the hair and crimped just bottom part of the hair below the occipital bone

one more hair style - inspired by french movies

The finished hair style will give you nice base for some accesories like you could add some crown or some other stuff made of hair extensions. The final result could be great depending only on your imagination

I left one section of the hair strait so I got smooth outer layer of hair and underneath I have a lot of volume and texture

Hi guys I was just checking new gadget today Calligraphy Cut Pen

It's a new tool to cut the hair but for me looks only like normal razor just in new fancy design

I am not convienience about it properties and why I should really buy it

I can buy any razor I want in any colour and shape and this one is not the best one I have seen so far

So guys let me know what do you think about this new cutting tool ...

Crazy colour "sky blue" and "silver"

Today I was testing two crazy colours on my block's hair

The "sky blue" and "silver"

I had two kind of hair strands

One was of depth 8/0 and one of depth 7/0

I applied the crazy coloures on wet hair and wait 20 minutes

The silver tone was not as vibrant as I expected

The blue came out more as a green than blue

Both coloures work really well as a toners

The blue stains the hair very quickly

The silver I couldn't see any change really on the hair
the yellow turn out more ashy but I didn't get big change

My work done at Bournemouth and Poole College

My work at Bournemouth and Poole College

Today I had a very nice customer who came to college to do regrowth.

She had very light colour on top of the head level 10/0 and at the back , her hair was very dark 8/0
I suggest to her that I can even the colour so...
I did regrowth service first and after that, I applied the colour to the rest of her hair

The result was beautiful all hair had depth of 8/0

Afterwards, my customer asked me to do hair settings so she ends up with beautiful hair colour and curly hair style

She was my first customer this year :):)

Refreshing Two Tone Highlights

This week I had to start using many different colour and tones

I decided to use two colours and do highlights just on one side of the head to get very stylish sophisticated look

I had head block with black hair so I could achieve very contrasty look using very light coloures

I used two different coloures one with blue tone & one with purple tone

The colour of the hair change from black to blond using just two coloures
Few packages on the top of the head will allow you to get an interesting effect and refresh your overall appearance

Salon International 2015

This year I had the chance to go to London and see Salon International

I had just 4 hrs to check what is going on and what products are available to buy or see new trends and hair styles

I enjoyed every mintute of it

Contrasting Graduated Bob

Hairdressers can do during one-year competition like:

As a Hair Stylist, I have to think twice before I do any hair style
I would like to do commercial hair styles but as well learn to do more Avant-garde one

The commercial hair cut and colour is actually most popular

The trick is to make them fresh and a add your own ideas

This week I bought new head block to practise more

I did graduated bob and decided to do something more artistic and use Lightener

I used lightener to pre-light the hair

Next week I will add some fabulous colours on this light part of the hair to get interesting effect

This Hairstyle is all about clean and even sections

I did hot cross ban and work in my right front section first
I start from bottom working to the top in horizontal subsections

On the foil, I paint rectangle shape and cover it with lightener (so after putting it behind my section the hair will stick to the foil and not move too much)

Afterwards, I put the foil behind my first horizontal section on head block's eye level and brush the hair with lightener .
I try to not go outside my rectangle shape

I lightened my all sections in this same way

After 20 min I took off the foils and wash the hair and blow dry it

After using curler I achieved great hair style
