Long "Doughnut" Graduation

This week I decided to cut the hair in a different way 

I did some research and come out with great idea 

I transform the long graduation which one I was taught at college to new dimension  

I used 45 degrees angle first and cut my first bottom section

After that, I used 90 degrees angle to cut the section straight 

Next, I used 135 degrees and cut with 45 degrees 

The top section was cut with this same angle and the sections of the hair were over directed to the back to get more length at the front of the head

The sides were over directed as well to the back

All sounds similar to what I did at college, but..
 I hold the scissors differently and cut behind the hair shaft not at from of it and my hand was making the curve and the scissors were following my hand so I could achieve round shape

The result came out amazing 

Very soft and round graduation 

like ...

Smooth Soft Transition From Medium Brown to Medium Blonde

Yesterday I was checking some videos on youtube and I was inspire by one of the video 

(Video below)

I decided to do similar hair style

I used lightener with 9% and 6% and I didn't apply it to the roots 

I applied 9% just on the ends and half of the middle length of the hair along jawline  and with 6 % I smooth the lines to get more smooth effect on the top part of the section

I could use 2 different permanent  colours 

one maybe 9/0 with 9% and one 7/0 with 6% to get "Smooth Soft Transition From Medium Brown to Medium Blonde" effect

I could get very nice light colours and not use lightener at all

... but I had just lightener :)

If you can see on the photos above, the effect was achieved but ... 

...you can see that the hair has lots of warm in it 

The hair is very orange 

I used cheap lightener but I recommend new Wella Blondor Lightener or just any two nice permanent colours 9/0 and 7/0

Model Needed

Model Needed

I am looking for a model for my hairdressing competition 

which one will be held at Bournemouth and Poole College ( or in London O2 ) April 2016

Women at any age can apply for this role with very long hair or medium hair length but they have to live in Bournemouth area in the UK

The right person has to be available for all day on the day of competition and before the competition has to be able to meet with me to try the dress and other accessories and do skin test makeup


This role could be perfect for student of beauty or student o theatrical makeup or actress

The costume will be very colourful and I will use hair extensions, hair will be colourful as well or not depend on the hairstyle ( you can decide  if you like the hair style or not maybe you know some great hair style and I could do it for you )

We could help each other to build a portfolio ...

or...

just join and get unforgettable experience  ...


The Photographer will take plenty of photos so I need a brave lady who is not scared of transform herself completely to the new character.

Level 2 completed

Level 2 completed

I would like to say big thank to everyone who help me complete my Level 2 in Women's Hairdressing

This year was difficult for me  special that I had to learn new things but I am so happy from what I learned. My tutors were amazing and always there for me.

I am junior hair stylist now with Level 2 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing
I can start work in commercial salons but actually I am doing level 3 as well and would like to learn more advance techniques to become better hairdresser and perfect my skills

now I am going to do at college Level 3 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing.It is worth doing it , you will learn much more about new advanced techniques.

First because the Level 2 is very basic course
Second Level 3 will give you more confidence
Third You will start understand how to use colours, how to behave around your clients, know better your products or just you will have fun :)

Vintage Hairstyle 20s and Photo Shoot

My husband gave me the best gift ever for our 7th wedding anniversary   - a Glam Photo Shoot


I have to say that I never had glam photo shoot so I had to research about this topic and get some idea what hairstyle and what kind of dress  I would like to wear for this occasion and what kind of hair to do and make up.


So...

I had one dress actually ... and I was thinking that maybe do hair style from 20s - a finger wave


I found some photos online ... ( sample below)

SO, one day I done the preparation of hair , make up ( it took me 2 hrs)
My husband  charge all camera batteries and pack his backpack and camera.

We stop in one lovely place and we were so lucky to get nice weather

My husband took lovely photos and here you got some samples below of my glam photo shoot
