Enrolment for Level 3 in Women's Hairdressing

Today I enrol for Level 3 in Women's Hairdressing. I am so excited to start this new year.
The enrolment took around 1 hr and I got now my student card

Comparing my two hair styles , last year I didn't do any effort to look nice because I didn't know that I will get my student card on the enrolment day, silly me :)

Sectioning Clips Clamps Hair Grip Tool

The college will start soon and I was researching for new clips / clamps

My friend from South Korea had very nice clamps for hair and the shape was perfect special design for round head

So I done research on Ebay and actually I found one very similar to the one my friend had

I would like to just say that I am not getting any money to advertise products below
I am hairdresser and I am researching about this products myself and would like to get the best one for myself

Maybe is waste of money but I love gadgets special the one for hairdressing

I would like to just say that I am not getting any money to advertise products below

The comb will help you do sections faster and in more precise way
It's great product for any hairdresser or just for home use for anyone who would like to do some highlights at home

This comb looks nice but I will test it when I will get it and will post the review as well

I got this comb now and I have to say this is nice tool but if you planing do your highlights at home this comb can be useless

its probably good for hairdressers  but actually the pintail comb is much better
I will give it a goal again and get more experience with it but I am not a big fun of this comb that is all what I can say about this comb

Review of  Smart Sectioning Weave Balayage Highlight  Comb for Hairdressers

the comb is very helpful but if you are doing highlights this tool will not let you dye your hair close enough to the roots ... the comb takes some hair from front of the section and some hair from the back of the section (up and down)so when you want to use foil underneath the comb some of the hair will stay to far from the foil and you will not manage put bleach on the hair close enough to the roots (you will get effect of 1-2 weeks regrowth)

So after completing the highlights you will get effect of 5-7 mm regrowth


The size of the regrowth effect will depend on the width of your section

I dont recommend this comb for hairdressers who would like to get max root coverage

Fab Highlights at home

Fab Highlights at home

As a weather is so horrible this year and is much darker outside than last year I decided to do some highlights full head

and bring some sun back :)

My grey hair somehow blend in between highlights so I don't have to worry about them now


I used bleach and 6% cream peroxide

I recommend go to professional hairdresser salon to get the best result.
(The result will depend on your natural hair colour and depend on colour you would like to achieve )

After bleaching my hair I used clairol 9A natural light blond to tone down the orange in my hair any way I didn't use it for a long time and the hair came out nice but a bit darker that I want it

Update 7 Sept 2015

ok I change my hair colour again
I want to achieve more light blonde hair colour than I had

So I lighten my hair again ( I used bleach with 6% )

yes :)

I am afraid I had to do it, I want to do it :)

so I end up with hair like this , :(

So after lightening my hair I didn't like the colour  (the brassy ginger look) but I knew what I want it and how to achieve the right hair colour.

and after getting the right toner  :)

the finish look is so nice , more than I expected

I could lighten my hair using Wella Blondor Multi Blonde Powder it is a great product

but I didn't have this bleach at home so I use my old bleach

To achieve even more lift I could do one more application but actually, I really liked the colour.
