Hairdressing Competition - mood board and styling the hair

The competition is just next week and I have completed my mood board, found the model , bought hair donuts, face paints, wire, costume , jewellery , get the right stuff for my theme etc.

I told myself few weeks ago that this competition is just college competition and I don't have to get so many things and spend so much money but after a while after creating my mood board and decided what I will do, my list of shopping just change from short to long list and I just had to spend more money than I planed few weeks ago .

In my group people where simple crazy about they themes too.

They bought hair extensions , hair dye, etc.

Everyone want to pass they plait and twisting assignment.

My model had not much time to test the hair style but I could practice some hair styles at college too

I tried make something from wire or paper

I used glue in two different colours

This was a great idea but the feathers were very heavy

I couldn't stop and I painted the feathers with oil paint

After all that work I decided to not use it
I bought real feathers

I had to think still what kind of hair style I want to do and this was my other idea ( photos below)

Soon I developed my own favorite hair style

I bought costume on Ebay and just change few things

So I am ready now after so many weeks of preparation and stress it's time to have a fun and do my best :)
